Oishii Pretty Cure Staff

At last, they are done!! This may look sweet and simple, but the coloring on these made me want to pull my hair out!! I had the little circles, white sections and silver parts colored right from the get go, but figuring out how to color the gems and the section in the middle was driving me crazy! I literally just let this sit on my computer for two weeks or so, half-finished, just because I was so frustrated. But since I'm on stay-cation and I really wanted to get some art done, the other day I took a look at it again and got this inspiration for the middle section: make it look like sparkles! Because everyone loves sparkles. And as for the jewels, I decided just to make them the aura color of each Cure and leave it at that.

So the official names of these staffs are the Colorful Glitter Wands. Once the girls receive them, they allow them to use upgraded versions of their original attacks (which they performed with their Talismans), as well as let the girls use their first group finisher! I had finally ironed out the details of all the attacks, so I will be uploading the list of them on a separate Deviation that has both items on it. Anyway, this one pictured here belongs to Yukie (Cure Bubblegum), of course. I did color one for each Cure (with the magic of copying and pasting! xD ), but I didn't want to have a giant image with all six of them. So I picked one to showcase here, and I'll be picking a different girl's items for the other Deviation.

In fact, I have the image ready to go. I just need to finish up typing the attacks. So I should be able to upload it soon! Watch for it!
